My professional interests and passions focus on the cultures of education, technology literacy, and technology planning & implementation in libraries and other learning environments. As a professional, my titles include Assistant Librarian, Instructor, Teaching Assistant and Business Analyst. In addition to these, my commitment to higher education has led me to work as a freelance professional, tutoring adult students in the use of technology to better manage academic tasks including research and coursework implementation. My academic and professional background includes knowledge of all facets of higher-education learning cultures including campus-based studies, hybrid, and online learning. I am experienced in electronic and virtual learning environments including Sakai and E-College. My development and design knowledge includes Adobe Creative Cloud and Techsmith development tools (Jing, Camtasia, etc.). My experience with electronic database research usage in higher education includes the NJ VALE system, Proquest, DowJones and many others database resources. I am experienced in many hardware and software technology brands including Google, Apple and Microsoft to name a few. My future ambitions include authoring publishable content on the subjects of information, access and the pedagogical role technology can play in contemporary society. Outside of work, personal time is spent with family and friends, acrylics and canvases, training with the heavy bag at the gym, and developing my embouchure.
