Library Fellow and Lecturer

Valparaiso, IN
I started my library career as a stack maintenance student assistant, while attending Southern Methodist University. Since then, I've engaged with projects focused on digitization, digital preservation, metadata creation and information literacy at Ohio University, the Library of Congress, University of Michigan, and Valparaiso University. I earned a Master of Science in Information at the University of Michigan School of Information, and currently work as a Library Fellow and Lecturer at Valparaiso University Archives & Special Collections. As a lecturer, I engage with diverse communities during archival instruction, serve on the Scholarly Communications and Digital Projects committees, and manage the rare and special collections material.
What I'm Reading:
The Copyright Primer for Librarians and Educators by Janis H. Bruwelheide; Copyrights and Copywrongs: The Rise of Intellectual Property and How it Threatens Creativity by Siva Vaidhyanathan; The E-copyright Handbook by Paul Pedley
