Librarian - Federal Judicial Center

Washington, DC
Hello! I am the Federal Judicial Center's one and only librarian. Located in Washington DC, the FJC is the research and education agency of the U.S. Courts. We provide training for judges and court staff. We also conduct research on judicial administration. Additionally, we work with international visitors who wish to research the U.S. judicial system. As a librarian, I support all activities of the agency. My team maintains content on the Internet and intranet sites, disseminates publications, and provide the architecture that manages the flow of information from our agency to the courts as well as the public. I also work with our editors (print) and producers (video) to ensure our original content is accessible across platforms.
Went to library school at University of Maryland - College Park
What I'm Reading:
I'm reading Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and sooner or later I'll tackle Clay A. Johnson's The Information Diet: A Case for Conscious Consumption. and... I'm up to my ears in children's books as I volunteer with FirstBook, Reading is Fundamental, and the Junior League of Washington's "Resolution Read!"
